JANUARY  2002

I hope all of you had a great a holiday season during the tail end of 2001 and are now all geared up and ready for 2002. This new year looks to be even busier for auto related events than 2001 was. The calendar of events on our Car Show page has really been on the move for the past couple of weeks with the email bag receiving many new events every day. Be sure and check the show page often so you can stay on top of the changing calendar for car shows from all over the country. If you, your club or other organization is holding an automotive related event that is not listed already on our calendar for this year please email us the information ASAP, that way the word of your event can get spread faster. Please include email and website information for your event so those looking at your event listing can contact you and visit your organizations website to see more about your organization.

This month and the month of February will see some changes to the format of our website as our Webmaster Jan updates and adds a new look to some of the pages which will include a new page called Larry’s Garage Sale. Larry’s Garage Sale page will carry used auto-related items that I have accumulated over the years and do need to find a new home for. All of the information written up above is another reason you to visit this on a regular basis even though I do get delinquent on this page I do stay on top of the other pages. New shop photos and friends rides will be updated over the next couple of weeks, so this will give our website a whole new look for 2002.

Looking ahead for where I will be in the upcoming months this year hopefully will see me at the following events. February-Calcasieu Rod run in Sulfur, LA, March-Hot Rod & Performance Trade Show, Indianapolis, IN, March-Spindletop Rod Run, Beaumont, TX, April-Red River Rod Run, Shreveport, LA, June-muscle Shoals Rod Run, Muscle Shoals, AL, July-Catfish Rod Run, Batesville, MS, September-Shades Of The Past, Pigeon Forge, TN. These are just some of the events that I plan on attending this year and hopefully I will throw in a few cruise nights on occasion for good measure.
There is a very strong possibility that I won’t be in my 37 Ford sedan at these rod runs since it looks like it will be going to a new home in the up coming month. My plans for a new street rod are to build a 34 Chevy sedan delivery from Outlaw Performance this will be my very first fiberglass bodied rod to build. For those of you that don’t care for fiberglass don’t worry I’m still working on my steel 38 Dodge Brothers truck that will get finished one day.

As I said before 2002 looks to be a year of change and growth for this website, so log on and hang on as we hit the cyber interstate at full throttle.

Keep On Cruisin & Hope To See You Soon.
