Welcome to the Southern Cruisin' News Website.
My name is Larry Crain and I am a car/truck enthusiast and an avid Street Rodder. I'm a member of the NSRA and a NSRA Safety Team Member for the states of Louisiana/Mississippi. I also belong to a multi-state car/truck club called Bad Boys Rod Custom. I recently sold a 1937 Ford Tudor (Slantback) Street Rod that I had restored, and I own a restored 1968 Camaro and I am working on several new projects, a 1938 Dodge Brothers Truck and a 1954 Chevrolet shorty school bus.

I have been involved with cars and trucks for over 30 years. During this span of time I have been involved in street races, drag races, autocross, dirt tracks and have shown many cars. I finally found my way to Streetrods in 1990 and have had a blast at with it since then. As you can tell by shop pages I spend a lot of time building hot rods & street rods. If all of this isn't enough to keep me busy I am also Associate Editor for Cruisin' Style Magazine which means I'm on the road to events at least one weekend each month. Stop by often for updates on what is going on around around my shop and for up to date event information.
